He raced at Shellhammer, Shippensburg,
Path Valley & Hunterstown Speedways.
Bud chose Hunterstown Speedway to be his home track.
BEGAN HIS CAREER RACING: Go-Karts at Hunterstown Speedway

In 1993 Bud earned Hunterstown "Rookie Of The Year"
in the Box Stock 425 Class. Bud then captured the
Point Championship in the 425 & 575 Classes and was
the first to achieve this honor for 2 consective years at
Hunterstown Speedway.
Bud also raced at Motorama at the Farm Show Complex
in Harrisburg PA in 1995 and took 1st place
in the 425 Class and 2nd place in the 575 Class.
Returning to Motorama in 1996 he finished
2nd in the 575 Class.

LATE MODEL PREPARATION:
1997 & 1998
Bud prepared the team and shop for the
future of Late Model Racing.
At age 16 Bud entered his Late Model at the Lancaster
Authority Car Show (Nascar Day) held in Lancaster, PA.
There were approximately over 40,000 to this event.
OTHER CAR ENTRIES INCLUDES:
Motorama at the Harrisburg Farm Show Building
in Harrisburg, PA where he collected over $400 in votes.
All proceeds went to the Spina
Bifida Foundation.
Bud also went to the Capital Airport to
benefit mentally challenged children.
And also participated in the
Make-A-Wish-Foundation
Truck Convoy, which was a great success.
Bud believes in helping children whenever possible.

LATE MODEL CAREER STARTS:
1998 Bud started racing Late Models and chose Silver Spring
Speedway as his home track. He only competed in
5 races that year.
In 1999 Sarah's Motor Express became a sponsor
allowing Bud to race each week. He was able to pick
up 3rd place finishes at both Path Valley & Silver Spring Speedways.
In 2000 Bud had a 4th place Feature finish and 2-1st place
Heat wins at Silver Spring Speedway. He finished 19th
in the point standings.
In 2001 Bud had 3 top 5 Feature finishes, 4 Heat wins and
finished 24th out of 51 in the points standings.
In 2002 Bud had 1 top 5 and 2 top 10 Feature finishes,
with 1 Heat win.
The 2003 season has started off to a bad start for Bud.
On opening day Bud suffered serious burns to his foot and leg.
Bud and the whole Race Team would like to thank the
Ambulance & Fire Crew at Silver Spring Speedway. Without their
fast response Bud's burns could have been worse.
Bud would also like to thank the fans for all the cards, letters &
phone calls he received during this time.

On June 26, 2004 Bud had his first late model win and thanked the
Ambulance & Fire Crew at Silver Spring Speedway for
the fast response time in Bud's accident in 2003.
